Planning for the Year Long Calendar
January is quickly coming to a close. I ask you, how are those New Years resolutions holding up?
I’m going to be honest, I’m not a big New Years resolution person. I’m more of a quarterly goal setter than a “this is my year” type. However, January is a great time to reset and refocus. Whatever your style in setting goals, success always starts with a plan. For me, that means seeing the year in focus all at once. Thus, I introduce you to The Year Long Calendar.
I met Brice Tuttle at the 99 U Conference in New York City. We both agree that breaking out into an all-out dance-off with Quest Love at the after party qualifies as a life highlight. As a freelance designer, Brice creates attractive brands and seamless experiences. He’s an adventurer, outdoorsman and genuinely good guy who I enjoyed getting to know over three days of creative learning and collaboration. He’s also a bit of a minimalist which shows in his design for The Year Long Calendar.
What I like about this calendar is that it puts an entire year into perspective at just a glance. Looking ahead, you can see where the year is going. Looking back, it puts 365 days of well=spent productivity into perspective. Big enough to write copious notes, but small enough to fit on the back of your office door.
